The MoU is expected to help a large number of Indian doctors and nurses employed in  hospitals in Kuwait.

The MoU is expected to fulfill the long standing desire to strengthen friendly cooperation between the two countries desiring to lay down institutional framework for developing medical cooperation between the two countries.

The MoU signed, inter alia, provides for resolving degree and other qualifications issued by Institutions in respect of medicine (including traditional medicine), nursing, medical technicians and paramedical courses. Now the courses recognized by Indian Government Bodies will be treated at par by the Ministry of Health of Kuwait for appropriate job placements and benefits.
